The rise of false information during the internet age
The internet is arguably one of the greatest inventions of humanity. Creating trillions of dollars worth of economic growth globally for people, companies and institutions all over the world. It fundamentally changed how business has been done in every corner of earth.
With all the benefits the internet brought to society and the average person it is impossible for there not be cons. One of the cons is the rise of false information, scams and ineffective programs.
Arguably one of the laws of nature is that you get more of what you reward and incentivise. If you look around on the internet you'll see the vast majority of people are doing the same thing, why ? because they're rewarded for it. This leads to the common general marketing strategy which people promote claiming that XYZ method or business strategy works and will make all your wildest dreams come true. You probably know who I'm referring to already, The dropshippers, Cryptocurrency advocates, etc.
Now I'm not saying that its impossible to "make money" using these methods. What I am saying is that the attitude of people trying to use these methods and strategies to build a business and try build a life for themselves are flawed, Often due to no fault of their own.
If you grew up during the age of social media, like me, and you've always had goals which you've wanted to achieve it is easy to become disenchanted when you've not created the level of success you believe you should have.
The Goal of this business:
While on my journey and process of personal development I've come across lots of people, been in contact with lots of new ideas and tried lots of businesses and endeavours. I always felt like I was missing something, There was either not enough information, Not enough structure to the information, To much misrepresentation in the marketing or unvalidated, careless or just plain wrong or incorrect data and information or no clear way to apply it to my life.
I wanted to create something that actually works and actually bring benefit to peoples life and not hype them up in order to sell them a course and profit from their short term emotional highs. I wanted to contribute to the world in my own way and give my lessons and what I've learnt, systems and thought processes which have worked for me and made my life better.
I do believe everyone has the fundamental right to create a better life for themselves and do whatever is possible or necessary to increase their economic prosperity, income or wealth. I do not believe that individuals have the right to profit off people through dishonest means.
I want to help people create stability and progress in their lives. Have them increase their income and avoid any violent ups and downs. With that being said lets start with the truth about trading. What you really want to know... Can you make money from it ?
Can I make money from trading ?
The definitive answer is yes. But I would argue that That is the wrong question. In my opinion that question is short sighted, which I understand completely, Everyone loves money. None more than me. However if you are asking that question it means that you've not started you trading journey yet and/or are in doubt as to whether trading works.
Being short sighted is arguably one of the biggest reason people cannot build a life and succeed long term as a trader. It turns an potentially successful future trader and adds on time to their learning curve.
The Learning Curve Defined
The learning curve is probably one of the biggest barriers to long term success in trading. it is defined it as "A persons rate of progression when acquiring new skills or experience"
Your goal in trading is not to make money. It is to become a proficient and profitable trader. The attitude you approach trading with is key. I imagine that the reason you want to make money is to improve some condition or circumstance. However you won't make any real money or a "Life-changing" amount of money in the markets going in with a short sighted approach. What will most likely happen is one of two things:
You'll come to the conclusion that it is too difficult to understand
You'll lose control of your emotions and actions and fall into the "gamblers fallacy"*(A condition where you'll make money and the give it all back to the market, over and over again in an endless cycle of making money in the markets and then losing all the money you made)
You'll waste alot of time and money potentially blowing up your life by taking on to much risk.
A note on point 3:
Even though this is unlikely it is possible. On this site I will be discussing certain methods and strategies in blog post which if used can allow an inexperienced trader to make alot of money in a short period of time. If that individual behaves irresponsibly or misidentifies the cause of his success and makes faulty conclusions lets say quits his job to trade full time when he isn't ready for it he could end up in alot of trouble. However if you have read or listened to this entry so far, I doubt that you will be this individual.
I've made all this for you. People who actually want to improve the conditions of their lives through the financial markets. I've tried to give complete and full information and write in a way which attracts the right kinds of people, People who don't just want to make a little extra money here and there, but people who want to become so economically and financially prosperous that they can live the life they want, take care of their families and companions and give back to the world and make it a better place. I have a feeling that those types of people are few and far between. However these are the people I want to help and work with.
I hope you enjoy the journey that's ahead of you,
Yours truly,
FX Shane
