Everyone wants to be rich. Spend any time online, on any video sharing media you'll eventually see an ad or video telling you how you can make x amount of money or how someone made x amount of money with this trick, strategy or technique.
The best way to actually achieve wealth and prosperity is actually to avoid going broke. If you peruse the internet what you'll see by definition, are the outliers. Its obvious but sometimes the obvious needs to be stated clearly and definitively in order for us to come to an actual accurate understanding of the situation and therefore make better decisions.
The lowest common denominator of truth is the the fact or factors present in the majority of cases.
There're millions of ways for an individual to become rich or wealthy, millions of different paths, routes and lifestyles that can produce, whether in actuality or in appearance only, riches and wealth. However there're only afew things that will lead an individual into poverty or a worsening financial condition.
By not knowing these things and only focusing on becoming rich, you're liable to fall into the trap of going broke.
Few things are guaranteed in life one thing I can guarantee is that by doing the things below you will go broke. No matter how much money you have.
1) Cut off all your income sources
2) Spend all your money on Gambles and experiences
3) Take out loans to fuel your gambles and experiences
4) Constantly chop and change your skillset or specialty (never stick to one skillset for any substantial period of time)
5) spend lavishly
6) Save Nothing
Here a gamble is defined as any venture, endeavour or bet that has no guarantee of a return or income
By this definition starting a business is a gamble.
This list is arranged in order of impact, 1) being the most detrimental to your financial well-being. 6) being the least detrimental.
Doing all these things in tandem is the perfect storm which will lubricate you descent into poverty.
If this list is reprehensible to you, I recommend looking over the list again and clearing up some of the words.
Sometimes understanding how and why people lose is just as important as understanding how and why people win.
