Winning

This is a controversial idea. The uninitiated will rebuke this idea that everyone can win. This is simply because they don't understand the concept.

winning is a state of mind, It starts and expands out for the individuals state of mind to infect every area in his life for the better.

Individuals who perceive a scarcity of winning will unconsciously try to implement "Control measures" on other individuals who are winning in order to restrain them and prevent them from winning.

They do it typically from the stand-point of "I mean you well" or under the guise of "having your best interest at heart". what is really going on is they're experiencing an unconscious sense of terror and personal danger as you threaten to "out-compete" and "out-perform" them.

This typically happens in more competitive environments such as hardcore sales environements and tends to only happen to individuals who themselves are individuals with their own beliefs, thoughts, ideas, thinkingness and ideals/identities contrary or different to the status quo or "mainstream" society.

These control measures are an effort of the individual who perceives he is losing and another who is winning to use their authority over that person to change his conduct in some way.

Why, if what you are doing is working and producing results should you change your conduct ?

Trouble typically follows suit after you agree that your conduct needs to be changed. Consciously or Unconsciously.

I remember one instance where I was working in sales as a Fx Trading Consultant, And I wasn't producing any results, I would go to my colleagues and ask for advice and they would say things along the lines of "Keep going" and "your not doing anything wrong".

However as soon as I started producing results and catching up to them in terms of production they'd say that I need to change this and start doing this differently etc etc.

Why ? When I was producing as a high level their jobs were "Safe", But when I started producing at a high level, Their jobs were "In danger". They they told me that while i was winning that i needed to start changing this or doing this differently.

Before you know it I was back to under-producing. This is a rare and highly specific occurrence which most people may not go through but I think it contains a valuable lessons.

The way to handle this is communication. You should communicate something along the lines of "Hey, I am producing more results this week, or month than I am doing week or month, I am experimenting with afew things which seem to be going well but if things start to not go well I promise I will come to you and ask for help or advice like I have done in the past"

Communicating something along theses lines in an earnest way should give you the space to continue doing what your doing unmolested and put the other individuals mind at ease.

In truth it is poor leadership for an individual to change an area which is producing well and whose production/ability is increasing over-time to go into an area and try implement changes.

The individual who undertook those actions when I was in sales was suppose to be my team leader but in truth lacked any capacity as a leader.

Unfortunately when you are a capable individual it falls on your shoulders to handle and take responsibility for the incapability of others around you, especially when their incapability impacts your ability to live a good life.

The trick to doing this well to communicate earnestly without making the other person feel wrong or bad. Typically they're unaware of the affects.

As mentioned before this is a highly specialized case but I feel like it contains valuable lessons.

There is no scarcity of winning everyone can win infinitely.

Treachery and cowardice are the two things which degrade any playing field in life. The more treachery and cowardice is present in a society the harder it is for individuals to life.

Dishonest economic policies which by definition benefit the "few" over the many is the reason why we see countries in the west with the economic fragility and undesirable factors they have now.

Dishonesty, Treachery and Cowardice ruin the playing field of life and poison the players. Making people, fearful and treacherous themselves.

No one is perfect but the goal is to get better everyday.
